Art Lessons from the Masters for Kids II |
Location: Nature House in Pleasanton Instructor: Debbie Wardrope I am offering a class over the summer called Art Lessons from the Masters for Kids. It's designed for children ages 6 to 10. Here's the class description:
Come and create some fun art projects using ideas from some of the world's greatest artists! Discover color with Monet, line with Degas, shape with Matisse and much more. Kids will learn art appreciation through stories and pictures from these wonderful artists and create their own masterpieces. 5 classes: $75 Pleasanton resident/$83 Non-resident plus a $25 supply fee payable at the first class

Afterschool Adventures with the Impressionists |

This 6-week class for kids ages 6 to 10 will focus specifically on art projects based on the work of the great Impressionists including Monet, Degas, Cassatt, and many others. Well be using pastels, tempura paint, and
watercolors as well as collage to create new and exciting works of art.
