News and Information
What a whirlwind! I've been busy getting new work ready for Studio Seven Arts as well as painting for a show at the Firehouse Arts Center called "A Passion for Pastels." Studio Seven is featuring four of my new paintings along with the work of two other pastelists for February and I'll be demonstrating in the gallery from 10-2 on Saturday, February 18th. Please stop by if you have a chance.
"A Passion for Pastels" opens with a reception on Wednesday, March 14th and everyone is welcome. The show will run from March 14th to April 14th so please visit the Harrington Gallery at the Firehouse and see the show. The other pastelists have amazing work and the show will be well worth the time and effort to see it.
Our wonderful dog Misty passed away recently at 16-1/2 and we were so sad not to have a dog. That problem was solved when we met Riley, a poodle-terrier mix that we adopted from Stonecliffe Animal Rescue. We are thrilled to have a puppy (although housebreaking is a job I'd rather avoid!) He's a doll and there's a lot more smiling going on at our house these days.
I've got several classes coming up for both adults and children in winter and spring. Please visit
www.danvillerecguide.com for classes in Danville or www. ci.pleasanton.ca.us/services/recreation for Pleasanton classes for 4-6 and 6-11 year olds.
Hope to see you soon at one or more of my upcoming events!
Please see the new article that recently appeared in Pleasanton Patch regarding my work!
